Independent Guilford (IG) aims to bring together Guilford residents of all backgrounds to serve the local needs of our lovely community and to continue the progress of our town and schools. Founded in 2022 following a particularly divisive election, IG seeks to help our community recover the more cooperative environment that used to exist among local board members and commissioners. This cooperation is key to forward progress. IG hopes to engage community members who may not identify strongly with a major party but who care deeply about Guilford and would like to have more of a voice in decisions about its future.
